The ‘Delivery signed for’ option - Explanation -
Choose ‘yes’ – NOT RECOMMENDED - if there is no one available to receive and sign for the flowers, a courier calling card will be left at the address and the flowers will be returned to the courier depot. The courier will not attempt a redelivery
Choose ‘no’ – our recommended option – your flowers will be “left safe” by the courier, which means that if there is no one available at the delivery address to receive the flowers when the courier arrives they will still be left at the premises, but in a discreet location if possible. You understand that the flowers become your property and therefore your responsibility at this point of delivery. You can leave a message in the ‘extra information for courier’ box if you want to advise a suitable place to leave the flowers.
‘The Exact colour only’ option
Choose ‘yes’ only if you need this exact colour – no close matches. If this colour is unexpectedly unavailable you will be informed that your order has been cancelled and no payment will be taken.
Choose ‘no’ – the recommended option - as there may be a time delay between your order being received on the website and the actual harvesting and packing of your flowers, it is possible we may find at time of dispatch that we cannot fulfil your exact order. In these cases we recommend that you allow us to substitute using the most appropriate close alternative wherever possible. If no close alternative is available we will contact you by phone or email so you can change or cancel your order
‘Collect from nursery’ option
More information - You may collect the order directly from the nursery on the agreed date, but only if you have chosen the option to collect from the nursery at the time of placing the order. Please note that if you have paid for courier delivery at the time of ordering and have then informed us that you wish to collect your order directly from the nursery we cannot reimburse you for these delivery fees. When you receive email confirmation of your order you will receive clear instructions to help you find our location and SATNAV advice. Our normal business hours for collections are 7am – 4pm, except Sundays. To assist us in the management of the nursery we ask you to advise us of your anticipated collection time within this period on the agreed date.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
By placing an order on this Greenlines Nursery website, you agree that you have read the following statements and that you agree to these terms and conditions.
REFUND POLICY AND SERVICE PLEDGE
Our flowers leave our nursery carefully packed and in first class condition. If you have a good reason not to be satisfied with the flowers you have ordered once they are delivered, please contact us immediately. We will review your complaint and should the cause be related to circumstances that are within our control, we will consider a full refund and re-delivery of your chosen product.
Naturally, we are working with fresh, seasonal flowers that can be affected by the climate and can, as such, have unpredictable availability and indeterminate shelf life.
Our couriers are delivering in ambient temperature vehicles and this can affect the longevity of the flowers.You are expected to have read and understood our ‘Flower care’ information on this website.
As there may be a time delay between your order being received on the website and the actual harvesting and packing of your flowers, its possible we may find at time of dispatch that we cannot fulfil your exact order. For example, there may be an unexpected shortage of a particular colour, or our strict quality standards cannot be met. In these cases we will substitute using the most appropriate close alternative wherever possible. If no close alternative is available we will contact you by phone or email so you can change or cancel your order. If you are not prepared to accept any slight colour substitution, please write this in the comment box at the checkout.
Because of their perishable nature, flowers are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
FLOWER DELIVERY
Our flowers will be delivered to you on the next day after the day they leave our nursery by overnight courier service. You will have made sure you have chosen your correct delivery date, and that the address you have given as the delivery address is written correctly with the correct postcode. You understand that our couriers are delivering in ambient temperature vehicles, and this can affect the longevity of the flowers in periods of hot weather. You understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delayed delivery for any reason that is outside the direct control of Greenlines Nursery
DELIVERY OPTIONS
You confirm that you have read the explanation of the use of the ‘delivery signed for’ option at the website checkout. Greenlines Nursery cannot be held responsible if the flowers cannot be delivered due to incorrect delivery address or postcode, if the courier is denied access to the property at the delivery address, or there is a requirement for a signature which cannot be obtained
TITLE TO GOODS
You understand that the flowers are deemed to be your property and responsibility at point of delivery, or at the time a delivery has been attempted, and neither Greenlines Nursery or our couriers can be held responsible for their subsequent appearance, vase life or condition. You confirm that you have read and understood our ‘Flower care’ information on this website
WHAT YOU ARE RECEIVING
You understand that you will receive the flowers that you have chosen from the items shown as currently available on the Greenlines Nursery website. You understand that whilst the flowers are carefully packed and secured they are not gift wrapped, packaged or presented as gift bouquets. All the flowers you receive will have been grown in the UK by Greenlines Nursery to strict GLOBALGAP environmental standards and are not imported.
You understand that as there may be a time delay between your order being received on the website and the actual harvesting and packing of your flowers, its possible we may find at time of dispatch that we cannot fulfil your exact order. CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
Please note that any changes to your order (such as delivery date, colours, or delivery address) must be made at least 2 working days prior to the originally requested delivery date to ensure that we have time to amend your order. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accept changes made to your order after that time.
FLOWER PRESENTATION & RISK
Some flowers may be delivered partly in bud to ensure longer life. There is a very slight possibility that some people may find the flowers harmful if eaten and/or a skin irritant. Please contact us if you wish to enquire about the safety of our flowers before ordering.
You understand that neither Greenlines Nursery or its agents can be held responsible in any way for how its products are used or treated once they have been delivered.
PERSONAL MESSAGES
If you require a personal message or card to be enclosed with the flowers this must be completed and sent to our nursery address in good time for it to be packed with your order . We cannot accept responsibility if the flowers need to be despatched and we are not yet in receipt of the message or card you have asked us to enclose.
SPECIAL OFFERS
At our discretion from time to time, we may offer our customers a personal code that can be used at the website checkout so that our products can be bought at discounted prices. These offers are valid from the time that we introduce them to the end date of the offer and they cannot be used for purchases before the offer introduction date or after the offer end date.
In the event that a customer has made a purchase and the price of a product falls or is discounted due to a special offer, the price of the product at the time of purchase shall ‘prevail’. We are unable to offer special offer discounts for purchases that have already been made.
As our special offers are often presented due to the availability of products, we may change the terms of special offers, or withdraw them altogether, at any time and without prior notice.
We also reserve the right to offer different personalised special offers and promotions and it will therefore only be possible for the customer in receipt of the special offer to redeem the discount.
COLLECTION OF YOUR FLOWERS DIRECTLY FROM OUR NURSERY
You, or someone acting for you by previous arrangement with Greenlines Nursery, with reasonable proof of identity if requested and holding a valid order number may collect the order directly from the nursery on the agreed date, but only if you have chosen the option to collect from the nursery at the time of placing the order. Please note that if you have paid for courier delivery at the time of ordering and have then informed us that you wish to collect your order directly from the nursery we cannot reimburse you for these delivery fees.
You will have paid at the website checkout and received confirmation of order for a clearly stated number of stems of flowers or boxes of flowers in a clearly stated colour or range of colours. Therefore when you collect your flowers Greenlines Nursery staff will not accept any form of payment or inducement to change or increase your order, nor will you be offered any kind of discount or bonus.
When you receive email confirmation of your order you will receive clear instructions to help you find our location and SATNAV advice. Our normal business hours for collections are 7am – 4pm. To assist us in the management of the nursery we ask you to advise us of your anticipated collection time within this period on this agreed date. If you want to collect flowers outside our normal hours this can only be done in exceptional circumstances and by clear prior agreement with Greenlines Nursery. If you fail to collect your order on the agreed date and during our normal business hours as stated above, the flowers are then deemed to be your property after this time in any case and we cannot be held responsible for looking after them or their subsequent condition.
Please note that when you arrive on our Nursery site we are bound by our own Nursery procedures, our Supermarket protocols and Health and Safety Regulations to ask you not to enter the glasshouse cropping areas or packhouse and to be accompanied by a member of staff at all times.
You agree that you have an obligation whilst on our site to be mindful of your own safety at all times and to be especially aware of vehicle movements, obstacles, changes in floor level and tripping hazards.
DISCLAIMER
Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavors to ensure that the Greenlines Nursery website and/or the Services are fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this and, therefore, accept no responsibility for any defects and/or interruption of the Greenlines Nursery website or Services and shall be released from our obligations under these Terms and Conditions in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control which renders the provision of the Greenlines Nursery Website and/or the Greenlines Nursery Services offered on the website impossible or impractical.
CANCELLATION
Only cancellations which are given at least 2 working days before the intended delivery date may be accepted. Orders placed or cancelled on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays will be treated as having been received on the following working day. To cancel orders, please contact us at your earliest opportunity.
You are entitled to cancel any payment at any time where fraudulent use has been made of your credit or debit card by another person not acting on behalf of you or as your agent and to be re-credited by us limited to the extent that such sums are not reimbursed by the card issuer in such circumstances.
PAYMENT AND ORDER PROCESSING
Payment may be made by any of the methods indicated on the checkout page of the Greenlines Nursery website and will be debited when you submit your order. When you submit your order by clicking on the ‘Make Purchase’ button, you are consenting to be bound by our terms and conditions contained herein.
For your order to be processed and delivered on the required date, you must supply us with all the mandatory details requested. Your order can only be processed if full payment details are given.
After your payment details have been entered into PayPal, you MUST return to this site, otherwise the processing of your order may be delayed.
Your order will be confirmed by a summary page at the end of your online transaction and then acknowledged via e-mail to the e mail address provided at the start of the transaction within 12 hours, confirming your order details. You will be issued with an order reference number for any future correspondence. All costs will be charged as defined in the order summary on the date the order was placed.
We will not consider ourselves bound by a contract with you until we have issued a confirmation e mail to the e mail address you , the customer, has supplied at the start of your transaction.
On occasion, when submitting customer’s credit/debit card details to our bank from our website, we receive payment failures which prevent us from accepting your order This may be due to credit cards that have been entered correctly and have sufficient funds but are not validated because the card issuer is performing a random security check. In these cases, we are still unable to accept the order although the problem is through no fault of the customer. We suggest that the customer goes through the checkout again using another payment card to complete their purchase. Although this problem is regrettable, it is, in the circumstances described above, outside our control and therefore we cannot offer any form of recompense.
CUSTOMER AND RECIPIENT PERSONAL INFORMATION
To ensure that we can communicate effectively with our customers, it is very important that you provide accurate personal information.
Please remember that we value your privacy and will never lease, rent or sell your private information. For more information, please see our privacy policy.
At the checkout, we ask for the following personal information:
- Customer email address - we use this information in the event that we need to make contact regarding any details of your order.
- Customer full name and address - we use this information for credit card validation - Customer telephone number / mobile number - we use this information to contact customers in the event of problems with the order such as colour shortages or delivery problems.
- Delivery/Recipient full name and address - we use this information in order to be able to deliver the flowers you have ordered. It is vital that the recipient’s address is accurate and includes a full postcode.
- Delivery/Recipient telephone number if different from Customer telephone number - we use this information to contact the recipient in the event of a difficulty in delivering your order. We will not contact the recipient under any other circumstances.
Your personal details will be retained within Greenlines Nursery private sales records and will not be sold or forwarded to any other company or organisation.
